As a Care Assistant/Support worker, you will work with clients to improve their quality of life.
Roles of a Support worker or a Care Assistant
Companionship
As a care assistant or support worker will be with a patient to provide comfort, daily support and meet all care needs, while following clients’ care plan.
Personal care
You will aid clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, personal grooming, brushing of teeth, to maintain personal and oral hygiene.
Medication
You will administer the client’s medication as at when due, as prescribed, following instructions on clients’ care plan.
Running errands
You will run all errands required to support clients and promote their independence as much as possible.
Managing equipment
You will be trained to maneuver specialist equipment which clients may require to support their movement and mobility.
Teamwork and Clinical support
You will maintain adequate documentation, report incidents to lead nurses, ensure good teamwork and effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary team, while being supported by a nurse clinician and other specialists.
Moving and handling
You will be trained in moving and handling procedure required to move mobility equipment to support the movement of service users with physical impairments.
Socializing
You are required to accompany and support clients’ through all social activities.

Live In Care
As a complex care provider, we support families to maintain safe and independent living in the comfort of their home and family. We provide live-in care service to promote an enabling environment for our clients and their family.
Roles of a Live in Care
Provides one-to-one care to clients in their own homes, by helping them with personal tasks, activities of daily living and leisure activities, so as to maintain independent living of their best life.
Companionship
As a live-in care personnel you will be client’s companion and friend, accompanying them to all events and activities, to provide comfort and support.
Personal care
You will assist our services users with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, personal grooming, brushing of teeth, to maintain personal and oral hygiene.
Medication
You will give our client their medication as prescribed and clearly written out in their care plan.
Running errands
You will run all errands such as daily or weekly shopping and aim to promote their independence as required.
Meal preparation
You will undertake meal preparation and cooking of meals, and ensure choice of food is given.
Domestic duties
You will be required to carry out basic domestic duties such as laundry, washing cutlery and vacuuming.
Mobility assistance
Some service users will require assistance getting around, you will provide support and assistance required to clients’ mobility and getting around.

You will maintain adequate documentation, report incidents to designated authority, ensure good teamwork and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary team, while being supported by a nurse clinician.
